Regional Meeting | This year the Region 5 meeting was on October 13th in Sullivan, Missouri. Our chapter this year had three regional officers: Brittany, Summer, and Sadie. The theme for this year's meeting is Follow the Leadership Road with FCCLA! It was based on the movie The Wizard of Oz. Our chapter took 18 members to the meeting including the three regional officers. The region outreach project this year was Russelhouse, a battered women's shelter. Chapters brought in hundreds of hygiene items for this cause. Representatives from Russelhouse talked to the main audience while the afternoon workshops were going on. The main speaker of the day was Justin Lookadoo, a motivational speaker who focused on teenagers living happy, healthy lives. He talked about not stressing over young relationships. He was lliked by many and gave a great message! |
